JUST CRUCIFY "him"!
Galatians 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Good evening beloved friends, the above Scripture drew my attention to something very crucial and that is:
If indeed we have given our lives to JESUS, the activities of the old man should not and is not PERMITTED to continue being at work in us because
2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
The difference between something that is new and old are always clear but if the activities of the old man is/may still be at work in our members, we have to go back to cross where the first work was done and crucify that struggle with sin.
You may be struggling with one secret sin or the other as a believer and from time to time you question yourself about your salvation, you make several promises to GOD to sincerely live for Him but only get wounded after falling and failing that promise.
Your case may be so terrible that you have decided to go to hell Since It's as if JESUS is helpless to help you out of that struggle with sin(THAT WAS MY CASE) and so you give in to any temptation so easily.
I BRING YOU GOOD NEWS!
At the cross there can still be hope for you, at the cross you can crucify the flesh again, YES I know you have tried your best and your best has not really given a death blow to that struggle
YES you have changed your contact number severally so as to separate from ungodly friends but the more you change it, the more you sink, don't kill yourself, just go to the cross again
Just take the old man and his activities(stealing, abortion, gossip, fornication, lies etc..... )and let them be nailed to the cross of JESUS.
At the cross you can be made whole again, at the cross you can live above that struggle, don't complain again, JUST GO TO THE CROSS!
YES I mean the cross where death comes and and resurrection follows again!
