MY ADVISE TO NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENT OF FUTO

As I look at most of this newly admitted students in FUTO, most of them thought that they have arrived so its all about fun, enjoyment, pleasures & attending night clubs & parties. Big boys & girls have landed on campus forgetting that the devil is already waiting for most of them & has different strategies to capture especially those who has plans without involving God in it. I was sharing with a girl who just got admission who was busy thinking of how her five years on campus is going to be. University is a world of different calibers of people from different back grounds. Its also a world where potentials & destinies are made & destroyed. While some came to study to make excellent results & brighter future, others came to chase after women, make friends with the opposite sex to enjoy sexual satisfaction & pleasures, some came to do business & play politics. But all the same, never forget that the devil has paid his agents to capture & make sure you loose your pride, potentials, & destinies. I have seen a Christian youth who after as her first year on campus, back slides & join the world. Any Christian who came into campus with his or her pride, integrity, & salvation & still leave the university environment without been stained or intact, that lady or guy has really conquered! Finally, for the newly admitted students, never forget your background & your relationship with God. It takes the grace of God to maintain sexual purity on campus. If God could help us to graduate successfully from the university unstained, & having served God faithfully with our time on campus, He can help you as well. Only abstain from bad company's that would lead you astray & all external distractions towards achieving your vision. Stick & hold God tight & never leave him. Never get involved in any relationship now because many will appear real & kind just to capture & destroy your future. Remain focused & determined! Avoid distractions & study your books. Time is coming when you will be ready for relationship. Stay focused! If you get yourself into ungodly relationship now, what will you be doing when you go for service? During your service, you will find more serious & mature guys & ladies interested in you. Never allow any guy or lady to deceive you! The worst thing you would ever give out to any student on campus is your pride. Never you as a student allow any guy or lady to see your nakedness when you are not yet married. I would advise you join a bible believing fellowship so as to keep you quite closer away from temptations, pleasures & worldly enjoyments. Your stay on campus is the time you need God most. During my stay, I was quite distracted which affected my year one result, but the moment I cut off from those guys & focus on my academics & my God, my result begins to upgrade till I graduate. My prayer is that as many who has made up their mind to remain unstained for God with their body & relationship with Him, God will see you through out your stay on campus. CONGRATULATIONS!
